AXIS Q8741-E combines two excellent cameras in one: this thermal camera features an excellent contrast resolution of 384 x 288 for reliable all-weather detection and verification under different weather and light conditions.Another is the light-sensitive HDTV 1080p vision camera, which supports an integrated 30x optical zoom for recognition purposes.

The visual camera also supports wide-dynamic range-Forensic Capture, which allows for clear detail in scenes with both dark and bright areas.And the focus wake-up function allows you to focus instantly in your defined area.

Agile, smooth 360° coverage area

AXIS Q8741-E allows the operator to choose between very slow or very fast horizontal rotation (from 0.05 to 120° per second) and vertical rotation (from 0.05 to 65° per second).As a result, they get a smooth, jitter free panoramic view when they need it, and they can respond to events quickly.The camera can be mounted on a column, pole or wall for 360° panoramic views and ground to sky views from -90° to +45°.It can withstand strong winds when it's stationary, and it can withstand winds of up to 37 meters per second (83 MPH) when it's moving.And it has an SFP slot, so it can support long distance fiber connections.
