Built on a dual Axis system-on-chip, this device delivers extreme detail over great distances and excellent fo-rensic value. It offers 41 MP at 15 fps or 8K at up to 30 fps. And a 4/3” image sensor ensures exceptional low-light performance. With a custom-made, tele Canon lens, it’s perfect for long-distance surveillance and deliv-ers extremely high pixel density. Electronic image stabilization (EIS) ensures smooth video in situations where a camera is subject to vibrations, for instance, at sports arenas or windy harbors. Furthermore, Axis Zipstream reduces bandwidth and storage requirements without compromising image quality.

All-in-one and ready for everything

This powerful camera offers everything you need and is out-of-the-box ready to use. Enclosed in a robust aluminum casing, it also includes a mounting arm for easy installation. And a spacious back box ensures secure cable management. It features a custom-made, tele (50 – 150 mm) Canon lens and 21°-7° horizontal field of view. With 3x zoom, it’s ideal for identification purposes. In addition, thanks to PoE out, you can connect and power another device without any additional cabling. This eliminates the need to rent extra ports and simplifies installation.

Secure and robust surveillance

AXIS Q1809-LE includes Axis Edge Vault, a hardware-based cybersecurity platform that safeguards the device and protects sensitive information from unauthorized access. And it offers FIPS 140-3 Level 3 certified secure cryptographic key storage and operations. This robust, weather-protected, outdoor-ready camera is IP66-, IP67-, IK10- and NEMA 4X-rated and features a IK08-rated impact-resistant glass front window. It has an operating temperature range from -40 °C to 55 °C (-40 °F to 131 °F). Furthermore, surge protection minimizes damage in the case of a power surge.
